Why Am I Writing This Blog?

I'm back!!! I had originally started this blog site when, in June of 2017, I first moved over here to Scotland with my sister, Becca, her husband, John, and my wonderful Lab, Dory. However, with so much going on in my new life (such as working, dealing with all the paperworkand and finances necessary to get a UK driver's license, become a UK citizen, etc, etc,) the blog just fell by the wayside. I finally abandoned it, which meant that all the previous content and design was gone..........yet the domain name had remained. I reactivated the name, and am now negotiating my way through the new design, function and form of this new site.

I do post to Facebook and Instagram, but I feel that I always have to hyper-edit my content, as it seems not very many people want to take the time to delve into either seeing more images and videos, or reading more about a certain topic. I believe that I can do both of those things here on this platform. Time will tell if anyone is actually interested!

It may be a short lived activity, but I would like to give it a try again. I love sharing how much I love Scotland, and how much I love my daily wanderings with my side-kick, "Ella". I also love our family gatherings, and I love when friends near and far come for a wee visit. I'm sure I'll bring up past experiences as well, as a lot has happened since I stopped writing my previous blog.
