Slower day

July 15, 2017

OK, so I try something different and the photos come first - huh.  One of these days I'll get this site figured out.

Today was a nice, relaxing day.  Took another nice walk along Gullane beach this morning, then went for a visit to my friend Isobel's lovely home out west of Edinburgh.  Such an idyllic setting and such gracious people.  I will be going back there next weekend to audit a clinic with Steve Halfpenny, a man I have heard a lot of good things about.  I'm looking forward to that.

I needed to stop off at the storage locker in Leith to get some of my tack for the clinic at Doreen's tomorrow, so, naturally, Dory came with me.  That meant going up in an elevator, and waiting patiently while I rummaged through what I wanted to bring for the weekend.  What a champ.  She wasn't too sure about the clanging doors on the elevator, and then a floor that moved, but it wasn't as scary as  the scarecrow and "deer" she saw yesterday!  She is adapting so well to all her new experiences - I'm very proud of her.

So, I'm off early tomorrow to conduct my first clinic in Scotland this year.  I'm excited to get back in the swing of things again.  More later!
